How did Cadagirls come about?

Due to my ‘slight’ addiction to collecting action figures, figurines and even a life-sized Lara Croft mannequin, I wanted to bring my love of collecting to the CNFT space. This led to my interest in fungibility and not least has led to a curb in my collecting in the ‘real world’ meaning more space around the house…wahoo.

How are Cadagirls created?

They are hand-sculpted digitally using only my laptop, trusty mouse and a whole lotta pixels. My art features no procedural generation, simply an artist’s love for what they are creating. I aim to bring excitement and positivity to the CNFT community.

What are your hopes for the future?

I hope that we can build a strong and supportive community where we all share a love for Cadagirls. I will grow our discord, implement community ideas and release new sets of Cadagirls in order to satisfy my creativity.

How do you decide on pricing?

So many prices reflect reputation over artistic quality, favouring utility and complex integrations. I want everyone to be able to afford and enjoy their Cadagirls at a cost that reflects only my time and love for what is being created. I hope to incorporate multibuy pricing very soon.

Are Cadagirls verified with online marketplaces?

We certainly are, Cadagirls are verified with CNFT.IO (some policies outstanding), Tokhun.io and Artifct.app

How do you decide on launch size?

Creating desirable unique Cadagirls is at the heart of my long-term vision for the project so as our community grows, I’d like to continue with small/medium-sized drops. Preserving the individuality of the pieces is important to me therefore I do not wish to create drops all the same. Some may be 15 1/1 pieces, some 5 pieces with multiple mint opportunities.

How can you compete with the ‘big’ players?

I run this project by myself so will I stand by my own vision, which is certainly not large 10k drops – people who enjoy Cadagirls will gravitate towards our community organically; steady growth and enriching support are at the forefront of where I see us heading.

Now that Cadagirls Hawaii has been launched what will you be working on?

I will be supporting the Cadagirl community and engaging with owners. Building our website, conducting giveaways, and working on smaller-scale drops leading into Q1 2022. As this space is continuously evolving, I don’t want to pin myself down to the details on future Cadagirls drops. Not least, because I work a full-time job on top of this.
